BEFORE / AFTER

It’s been awhile since I have posted
about the behind-the-scenes of my photography.
I think it’s because I truly do not feel like I have a special secret or recipe.
If I had to write a recipe, it would be:
1. Practice, Practice, Practice in a variety of lighting situations
2.Understand Light forward and backwards, inside and outside!
3. Shoot in Manual Mode
4. Edit images with Lightroom

My philosophy is to take the image as close to “complete”
as I can possibly can before editing.
This saves a lot of time in post-processing,
especially if there are 800 images from a wedding!!
But I also believe editing is key to finding your special flare or style….
editing is one of the beautiful perks of digital photography!
So use it!!

Today I am posting a few images Before editing and After editing.
I chose a few that need some extra TLC and others that need almost no tweaking,
just to show that no two images are similar.
I use a few Lightroom presets but it’s not a one click process,
there is always some adjusting after the preset is applied.
