thrifty tuesday.

I know I’m not the main attraction of Thrifty Tuesday/Thursday anymore…..
the puppies inch their booties into each photo,
it’s all their doing!
I could only wear this outfit in the evenings in Arizona,
the afternoons are around 85,
but at night, the temperature is in the lower 60’s.

thrifty tuesday.

It’s pretty much full blown summer here in Indiana,
but because it’s still March I added a little faux fur so this outfit isn’t too summery,
after all,
i have the next 5 months of Thursday’s (or Tuesday’s) for summer clothes!!!
WAHOOO!!!!
Fur vest: Kohl’s, from when i was like 14…(i’m a hoarder)
Striped tank: thrifted

p.s. I’ll be posting how i did my ombre hair this week-
it wasn’t too technical, but i’ll share anyways!

thrifty tuesday.

I take absolutely no credit for this outfit,
as it’s my friend Sara’s thrift find.
You know i love all things pastel and floral,
so when i saw this in her closet i wanted to show you all!
The belt and the dress were thrifted:)

ahhhh the beach…..
4 more months to go Michiganders.

thrifty tuesday.

In case you were wondering,
i don’t only shop at thrift stores,

I shop at normal malls and buy new items too.
But honestly,
i can’t buy new items at full price.
Every cell in my body resists it.
i cant do it.

So instead, i use the strategy of patience
to get what i want, at the price im comfortable with.

Example:
Before Christmas, I was eyeing up a pair of Gap Jeans that were $70.
I love everything at Gap,
but i know they have amazing sale prices because in the past,
i have found jeans for as little as $7.
So by simply waiting to purchase the pants until after the holidays,
i saved $57!!!
They were on sale for $13!!

Jeans: Gap (they’re dark blue, they look black in the images)
Jean shirt: Gap
Sweater: Old Navy
Shoes: thrifted
Necklaces: thrifted

thrifty tuesday.

I lovvvve white after Labor Day!
I also love this scarf-
i pair it with almost any color or pattern.
i used it with last week’s look here.
In this outfit, my Gap blue, v-neck sweater was thrifted.
The white pants are also from Gap.
The scarf is H and M,
and the shoes are Steve Madden.
