Yesterday I was reading Dear Annie in the newspaper.
A woman wrote a letter to Annie saying,
“I am 47 years old
and am living with so many regrets.
I married my husband because I did not think anyone else
would ask me.
I have never been in love with him.”
She has been with him for 25 years.
Sometimes,
I imagine myself on my deathbed and thinking back on my life.
During these times, money doesn’t come to mind…
nor does the size of my house,
or the year of my car.
Instead, Love is on the forefront.
I am content and peaceful knowing I have loved
and been in love.
My sadness aches for this 47 year old woman.
She let the Fear of no one else asking her to marry
get in the way of her happiness for 25 years!!
On a happier note,
I met Jay and Corina through Craigslist.
We had no idea what to expect meeting at Papago Park in Phoenix,
but it was a pleasant surprise.
They were game for anything
and sooo fun to be around!!
I am so happy to have met them!!!
Jay and Corina have been married for 2 years.
They are a great example in that
you can have photographs at anytime,
a special occasion isnt needed!
