Like you, I have had many birthdays,
but today is different.
For the first time,
I am turning 24,
I am getting my makeup professionally done,
I am spending half of my birthday in Michigan with my favorite people
and the other half of the day in Phoenix with my most favorite person, Malcolm,
I am officially moving to Arizona
(don’t worry, I’ll be back to Michigan for a bit each summer),
and Brielle gifted me with her own money.
I can’t explain in words how my heart melted when I opened my birthday card
and in it sat a crumbled one dollar bill.
For a six year old, that’s a lot of money.
She told her mom, “with the money Lea could buy Lindt chocolates.”
She knows my favorite chocolate:)
I am so thankful,
so blessed,
and so happy.
