The Bridal Show Breakdown

I heard many people say that bridal show’s
take an insane amount of time, energy, and money.
I had no idea what was ahead of me
when I signed up for the booth!
They were right,
so so so right!
First, I have to credit Morgan Trinker Photography
for the hollow door idea for the backdrop.
I am sure other people may use this idea as well,
I just saw it on Morgan’s blog first.
I also have to thank my cousin’s husband Rob for putting the doors together,
I could not have done it without his help!!
He’s a magic man!
A lot of thought and psychology
(finally putting my psychology degree to good use!)
went into planning the photography booth.
We had a max of 15 seconds to showcase the brand for bride’s walking by,
so it had to represent myself and my photography.
Thus, a vintage look with a modern twist was born…
and the thrift shopping and DIY projects began!!
It is a Bridal Show, so I figured many vendors would stay neutral
or use the expo’s black draping,
which is why I used the color coral as my background.
It’s not a part of my normal brand or color scheme
but I knew I needed to make the booth bold in order to catch people’s attention.
I ordered a few sample WHCC wedding albums
for bride’s to look at complete stories from a wedding day.
The quality and colors are amazing from WHCC!
“Thank you’s” from past bride’s were displayed in the vintage frame
and fresh flowers is key to spice up any space!
My conclusion:
bridal show’s are super fun,
they provide your business with great exposure,
but it requires alot of time and money!
