thrifty tuesday and my crafty project.

I need to save all of my creative powers for my job,

so in my off hours I like to drown my brain with reality TV.

Here is my one crafty project of 2012:

it all began with a pair of thrifted jeans and fabric

Then I simply cut the jeans, frayed the edges,

and sewed the fabric to the jeans.

My friend with a sewing machine went around the edges to secure it in place

after my sloppy hand stitches.

They are very high-waisted

so eventually I will gain the confidence to debut my mom-butt…

but not yet…I opted for a longer shirt this time:)
