$2,000,000,000= two billion dollars

Just imagine
what a million dollars feels like….

Imagine what you could do with a million dollars in your life,
imagine how long you would have to work at your job to earn a million dollars,
imagine how many people you could help with one million dollars.

Now imagine
9-0-0 million dollars

+

9-0-0 million dollars

(+200 million)

=

$2,000,000,000

(two billion dollars)

Two billion dollars could FEED, HOUSE, and EDUCATE millions of people.

It could improve the quality of life for millions and millions of people.

2 BILLION dollars could immensely help our country
and the world.

Instead,
$2,000,000,000
was spent by Obama and Romney
for simply campaigning to be President.

But in order to spend 2 billion dollars,
Obama and Romney had to have been given 2 billion dollars.

Now who has hundreds-of-millions of dollars
to give away?!?!

The biggest companies in this country.

But of course they don’t just give the money to the candidate for free,
the money comes with strings and conditions.

Therefore, the candidate’s are now working for these companies,

with the companies interests/wants/needs higher than ours,
average Americans.
And this isn’t only the presidential candidates,
it’s all politicians that have to campaign.
(Or I should say almost all politicians,
there are a few good eggs in the bunch who refuse special interest money.)

Therefore, the leaders of our country
are the companies with the most money.

There are four other Presidential candidates
that many of us have never heard of
(because they don’t have 2 billion dollars).
At a debate between the other nominees,
Gary Johnson (Libertarian Party) said,
“…the candidates should, during debates, have to wear
NASCAR-esque jackets sewn with the logos on their biggest donors.”

….I agree.

So now what do we do?
I don’t have 100 million dollars to give to the candidate of my choice,
chances are you don’t either,
so I believe our only options are to educate people about this problem,
speak up about campaign reform,
and lastly,
PRAY
for goodness to prevail evil
and light to outshine darkness.

“In these days running up to the election,
let’s pray that the election itself be blessed and protected…
that democracy prevail…
that all be lifted to the highest light.”
-Marianne Williamson

“No matter who wins the election,
we need a collective leap in consciousness
in order to take our country and our world in the direction of peace and love.”
-Marianne Williamson
