A year ago,
a girl I grew up with, lost her sister.
The day her sister passed,
I saw her in Wal-Mart and cowardly turned in the other direction,
hardly managing a no-tooth smile.
That very moment haunted me for a month or two
before I wrote an open letter to her on this blog.
That girl was Lydia.
We haven’t seen each other within the year,
only connecting through the internet,
but when she asked me to photograph her wedding,
I was more than happy!!!!
We finally met up last week on a beautiful evening,
ending it with a dip in Lake Superior:)
They were too easy to work for….
they cuddle and eskimo kiss and dance oh so perfectly,
I hardly had to intervene at all.
