The day began at the brides’ family farm in southern Wisconsin.
A picture-perfect farm, I will add.
The exterior and interior was exploding with amazing wallpaper
and details that fit this farm wedding so so so well.
On the way to the ceremony and reception venue, Aquaterra Farms (Courtney’s father’s farm),
a tornado warning popped up on our phones.
The bride and her entourage sought shelter at a nearby gas station
(IT KILLED ME INSIDE NOT TO BE WITH HER, CAPTURING THOSE PHOTOS)
but I was with the groom, stuck in some type of greenhouse thing,
which you will see documented later.
After about an hour and a half of the most intense rain you could imagine….. it stopped!!!
We were able to continue on with the day!!!
Sure, there were inches of mud in places so we were in mud boots or barefoot,
but it all turned out in the most incredible of ways.
Wisconsin farm country, you are beautiful and crazy and very unpredictable.
