The weather here in upper Michigan has been so perfect….
sunny days and calm nights (with lower humidity too!!)
For me,
the true feeling of summer is hopping in the car in my swimsuit
from an evening dip;
the towel wrapped tightly against my relieved body
with water droplets slowly running down my neck
the entire ride home.
Occasionally I swat the droplets away
because it feels like a spider crawling down my neck.

A few nights a week we go to my family’s sauna to sauna-swim.

the lesson is to NEVER leave the sauna door open for longer than 5 seconds!!
We take our sauna time seriously.
