it’s been a hard week.

This week has been a hard one for Malc and I.
We learned he has to get a few vaccines if we want his green card accepted,
which of course we do,
so our nice chunk of change doesnt go to waste
and so that he can be a permanent resident of the U.S (he’s Canadian).
For us, there’s nothing more heart wrenching
than the government ordering you to get injected with vaccines.
Just kidding,
there is something more heart wrenching—-
having to pay the drug company to inject you with toxins!!!!
Of course we could try to file against the immigration law,
but at the cost of $585+ and with a great chance of his green card being denied…
So basically,
it’s like we have no choice.
If we want a life in America together,
we have to do what the government says no matter how strongly we disagree with it.
For the record,
it feels awful not to have the freedom to make our own choices and decisions for own bodies,
based on our beliefs and opinions.
a.w.f.u.l.
It’s like someone strongly believing against birth control,
yet, the government forces you to take a pill or place a device in your body!!
Having a strong conviction
but with no control is emotionally painful!!
So it’s been hard,
but we have realized the one thing we still can control is our attitude.
That’s what we are focusing on now-
trying to only look forward,
never looking back to this week.
Accepting that this is happening for some reason
and believing,
trusting, everything is unfolding as it should be.
Now i’ll explain the photo.
We furiously researched how to prepare your body for vaccines
so that it could heal and recover naturally to the best of it’s ability.
Before heading out the door to the pharmacy,
i snapped this photo of Malc with all of his supplies!
Vitamins stuffed in his pockets,
sipping white tea,
dulse in his lip
(you’ll have to google what dulse is lol),
and ice packs in the cooler.
Then there was a hiccup
and he couldn’t get the vaccines yesterday…
so i guess we’ll spend another day strengthening his immune system.
I am not looking for a debate on vaccines,
thats not what this post is about.
This post is about finding yourself a partner
thats from the same country as yourself!!
just kidddddding
you cant fight Fate!!
