a new town…..or city.

You know when you’re driving through your town
and a car with out of state license plate stops in middle of the street
because they have no idea what their doing?
And you silently curse them out loud, or under your breath, or in your head—-
the point is you curse them
for making you a whole 10 more seconds late to your destination.
well, Relax! go easy on those people!
because I AM “those people” right now!!!
I’m trying to get accustomed to a new town,
or should i say City because we have
Target and Starbucks and Macy’s and Coldstone and Barnes and Noble and TJ Maxx
and a sushi place and a thai place and a mall and a dozen theaters that play a few dozen movies!!!!
ah yes i live in a city:)
As i was saying,
im adjusting to a new town, but that also means learning how to drive in new territory.
The other day i pulled up to a blinking red stop light.
What the heck is a blinking red stop light!??!??!?!?!?!
I think its the same as a 4 stop sign intersection?
That same day while driving,
a police car pulled in front of me,
trying to get into my lane as i was turning onto a street.
My lane was a ONE-WAY, in which i was going the WRONG WAY.
On that street corner was another police man on foot…….
and i, for some unknown reason, had the balls to roll down the window
and say, “Sorry i didnt know this was a one-way!
ah…..do you know where parking is around here?”
Yup that happened.

I dont need to say it because it’s blaringly apparent
(blaringly… i made that up)
but she is simply flawless.
