adoption.

Prelude:

Coming from a family of six children,

I have always said I want four of my own
because any more than four I would wind up in a mental ward,
three runs the risk of middle child syndrome,
two is quickly reduced to one if the other is out of town,
and one child is unacceptable coming from a family of six children haha!!
So four it is.
But a few years ago, I met Sam,
a three-year-old Vietnamese little boy,
that forever changed my life.
It was then that I decided I would adopt sometime in my future,
no idea how, when, or who,
but I would.
(Malcolm never met Sammy
but i am thankful he is completely open with adoption)
Because I couldn’t kidnap Sam (its against the law),
it makes sense to have two children of our own and adopt two,
to complete our ideal four.
The Story:
While driving to the Co-op the other day,
Malcolm and I were on the topic of kids
(specifically, what sports we would encourage them to play,
my picks are golf and volleyball, no football allowed!).
No longer than five minutes later,
we walked into the co-op
and at the register was a women with four kids;
two biologically hers and two little African boys.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Granted she may have been babysitting,
but regardless,

 I don’t believe in coincidence.
I believe in God communicating with us everyday,
through verses,
songs,
stories,
 people,
strangers,
nature,
animals,
and intuition.

This specific message was communicated and received
loud and clear:)
