Honesty. Honestly.

Why is it that during the peak of my crazy, busy wedding season,
all I truly want is just ONE day where I don’t HAVE to do anything.
No deadlines, no to-do lists, no editing.
Working from home makes taking one entire day off work an impossible task.

So now, when my body literally will not let me work at my desk,
because otherwise my shoulders/neck will revert back
to the painful state it was in a 1-2 weeks ago,
ALL I WANT, IS TO WORK!
I want to redesign my website, finish my bridal magazine,
blog last week’s wedding, edit last week’s wedding, design wedding albums…
ahhhhh.

I am trying to let go of “needing” to work everyday,
even on the weekends and evenings…. Like right now: /
It’s a Sunday.

It all stems back to the root: I love my job.
Of course that is a fortunate thing to confess,
many people cannot say that.
But I know it’s so important to keep balance in all areas of life.
I imagine it’s like being a mother:
You LOVE your children, your children are your LIFE,
but to stay sane and truly happy,
you have to get away and have alone time, fun time, “ME time”.

Reading helps a lot….
But a problem I run into is when I read all day,
I can finish a book in 1-2 days…
therefore my inventory of books needs to increase 100x to keep up with this downtime.
I am accepting donations: )

This, is my current, personal struggle.
