Just one of the reasons I love Katie and Geoff-
Geoff came to hang out with the gals for a bit… But this image is: Don’t look over there! That’s the dress!
Then he didn’t want to go back to the guys room because it smelt like farts…

Because of medical reasons, Katie cannot use elevators.
That is why they wanted to poke fun at it and have their First Look on the fire escape!

Geoff honestly picks her up and twirls her on average days…. so of course it needs to be done on their wedding day too. 

And……the stormed rolled in- all these photos were taken in a matter of 10 minutes!!!

Immediately when we returned to our cars, the rain ceased….
So naturally we kept taking photos:

Time = Candids
Geoff and Katie created a timeline that would provide me with TIME to capture candids..
Listed in the timeline, it literally reads: “More free time for you to capture whatever catches your eye”
In return, that’s exactly what they received! I love how many candids Dylan and I were able to get!!

Geoff, Katie and the groomsmen brewed all the beer for the wedding!

Many weeks before the wedding,
Geoff’s family gathered together to make grandma’s famous Italian Wedding Soup with grandma,
rolling 15 pounds of meat into meatballs.
Grandma passed on just a few weeks later.
They ate this soup at the wedding in remembrance of her.

Later on Geoff and Katie wanted to take a few photos in downtown Marquette and have some alone time…
I’m all for that: )

Katie’s ring was handcrafted by a MN artist, made with a Lake Superior agate (Geoff surprised her!)
and Geoff’s ring has dinosaur bone in it! He has been obsessed with dinosaurs since he was a kid!
