How Skyler and I “found each other” is the CRAZIEST story!!!!!!!
Last year, when I received a wedding magazine I was featured in, in the mail, I was immediately struck at how well designed it was!!!! I am not a detail-oriented person, but I noticed this magazine. It was SO GOOD. I thought about sending the editor an email saying, “WOW, this is the best designed magazine I have ever seen! Props to your graphic designer!” But I never sent the email haha. Meanwhile- Skyler was a graphic designer for the wedding magazine I was featured in and after viewing a few full wedding galleries I submitted, she noticed that my work was different. She views hundreds of galleries and thought I was different!!!! Crazy. Which prompted her to email me about photographing her Colorado wedding in 2018. My reply was something like this—
“WAIT. YOU’RE THE DESIGNER OF THE MAGAZINE I THINK IS THE BEST IVE EVER SEEN!?!? YOU ARE DRAWN TO MY WORK, AS I AM DRAWN TO YOUR WORK?! WHATTTT.”
And the rest is history: )
