thrifty tuesday.

It seems like God knows me all too well…..
My Sunday morning flight out of Michigan was cancelled,
so instead I spent the morning with my little-man cousin Ridge.
The next time I see him, he will be talking and walking.
I needed to hold him as a baby one last time.
I read him “If You Give a Moose a Muffin,”
and he read it back to me:
bgahhyahhhlaaaayoooolughlugh!
Then I looked him in the eyes and said I’m going bye-bye,
and he blew me a kiss.
Later, I had a lovely breakfast at my favorite restaurant
(Cafe Rosetta in Calumet)
with other die-hard Rosetta fans
(you know who you are).
All the while enjoying 60 degrees in November!
I caught the 2pm flight out of Houghton,
not to return until the leaves are back where they really belong.
Not 24 hours later,
a snowstorm blankets the area….
Like I said,
God knows me all too well.

Can you guess what my “no-face” posts mean?
