wedding} hannah and avery

I believe in God for many reasons-
some complicated, some simple.
I also believe in Albert Einstein’s quote:
“there are only two ways to live your life,
one as though nothing is a miracle,
the other is as though everything is a miracle.”
That means every moment, situation, experience and person that is in your life,
is a miracle, for one way or another.
It’s a miracle that my job is to take pictures
because I never thought it could be my reality…
It’s a miracle because it provides me
with opportunities to meet and work with unforgettable people.
People like Hannah and Avery,
who never seize to amaze me with their kindness
and creativeness!
Almost every inch of their wedding was handcrafted,
the time they put into their fairytale wedding is nothing I have ever seen before.
Their entire wedding was a work of art.
stunning:
I would be lying if i said i havent thought about returning my ring to get one like this!!!
so gorgeous.
awaiting his bride:)
Avery and Hannah decided to do a First Look just days before their wedding.
Their ceremony was at 5pm,
so we would have had to rush through the bride and groom and family portraits
after the ceremony.
Because they chose to see each other at 3pm instead,
we were able to do bride and groom portraits before and after the ceremony
and drive to a few different locations!
This way, they were able to spend their wedding day together
and i was able to get plenty of portraits in a very relaxed setting
because we had plenty of time!!
It was my perfect scenario,
and in return,
i have some of my favorite portrait photos i have ever taken!!
Here is their First Look:
(i get the entire shot,
meanwhile my second shooter Emily gets close-ups of the groom)
_edit
Look at this lighting!!!
I could not have dreamt of a better scenario!
They sky was grey and cloudy behind us,
but the sky was still blue north of us=perfection.
the ceremony and reception was at Avery’s parents amazing house on Lake Superior:
classiest outhouses ever:
the arbor and flowers were all made by Avery’s talented father:
Just as the ceremony was starting,
the only sun of the day peeked through the clouds…
I like to think that was Hannah’s parents shining down from Heaven with rays and rays of love.
Then someone yelled, there’s a bald eagle soaring over!
i got distracted for a second:/  but it was a really was a neat “sign.”
Her brother’s led her down the aisle:
i am absolutely in love with Hannah’s hair and headband,
its so simple but different for a bride!
Most people feel they need an up-do,
but its also important to look like yourself.
favorite:
second favorite:)
the horse used to be Hannah’s mom’s:)
the new Mr and Mrs Wilson!
A majority of the decorations were eco-friendly:)
They had yards of gauze gathering dust in storage
so they used it for the table cloths!!!
The lemonade stand is also recycled, made from old barn wood!
look at this bark card-box and flower pot!!!
Avery chiseled these rocks so that tea lights fit perfectly within them!
they were the wedding favors for the guests.
The morning of the wedding,
they thought to pour concrete so that the guests could leave their mark,
then they will make a table out of it!
seriously….!
rain made its presence…..
just so they could dance in the rain<3
the sparklers were a huge hit with the kids:
