I originally started this wedding post with only a quote:

After Lauren, the bride, viewed the blog post today,
she texted me that her grandma used to sing
“You are my Sunshine” when she was little,
so she had it playing during dinner at the wedding!

I wasn’t aware of any of those details
and I don’t remember that song from the wedding,
so I had no idea “You make me happy when skies are grey,”
had any significant meaning to Lauren.
Yet I “coincidentally” posted lyrics from a song that is so special to her!!
Out of ALL the songs that exist,
I picked this song!
AND I never start my wedding posts with a quote!!
But for some reason I decided to today!!?
……maybe this is Grandma’s way of telling Lauren
she was with her on her beautiful wedding day,
even if we couldn’t “see” her.

I loved how Lauren incorporated her grandmother’s
and mother’s jewelry!
The clips on her shoes belonged to her grandma!
