I attend 15+ weddings each year,
almost always as a photographer,
so I have a unique view of the day,
drastically different than guests, or of course, even the bride.
All weddings are different,
yet the same.
In the end, two people, madly in love,
vow to love and care for each other for the entirety of their life.
But what you may not gather from the images from Ashley and Nate’s wedding,
is that it was the most relaxing and ideal wedding timeline
I have ever been a part of.
The ceremony was at Ashley’s family cabin on Lake Superior at 6:30pm,
so we spent the day at her parent’s house,
applying makeup, toasting with champagne, forgetting to eat (typical),
and slipping on beautiful outfits for the evening festivities.
Nate and Ashley choose to have a First Look,
then we spent the afternoon taking portrait photos in a variety of locations,
because we had the luxury of time!!
no tissues in sight, use your pants. love this, mom has a tear on her cheek:)
the First Look…. I think Nate likes what he sees:)
Ashley’s entire wedding party and family were all wearing white,
the consistency looks so nice in photos!!!
Ashley’s best friends.
You probably recognize two of them from my past work!
The family cabin was located in Brimley, Michigan, near Sault Ste Marie.
The reception decorations were SO BEAUTIFUL!!!
Even their grandparents wore white!
This photo is priceless:
Thank you Ashley and Nate for inviting me along on your amazing day!!!
