As all people,
i too have a few pet peeves,
one of them being ignorance.

That is the very reason i try to educate myself on the popular topics of today
(i excel in celebrities, i kid i kid. or maybe not….)
If i am ignorant on a subject,
i will be the first to admit it and obviously wont give my 2 cents
because my opinion would have no value coming from ignorance!
Imagine i was explaining to someone
why the greatest baseball players of this decade are great.
I have never taken a baseball class,
nor have i ever read about the sport of baseball.
All of my baseball “knowledge” has come from observing and playing it a few times as a kid.
How does my opinion on the greatest baseball players have any credential
when i have only gathered what i know by observing?
That example can extend into politics:
listening to someone explain who the best Republican candidate is
when their knowledge was only gathered from watching television,
without reading extensively on each candidate, taking a politics class,
or engaging in a campaign (few examples).
They are simply a product of the biased media.
Of course, it also extends into religion:
Growing up in a strict Christian community,
the only information i received about other religions were that they were either crazy,
bombers, polygamists,
or believed in multiple God’s.
I was the product of this communities opinions (and ignorance.)
It was only when I decided to take the reins on my own opinions and beliefs,
is when i discovered the truth,
no longer believing in mere opinions passed down from generations.
Other religions aren’t crazy, all arabs arent bombers,
all mormons aren’t all polygamists, and they dont believe in multiple God’s!
For example, many people would assume Buddhist’s believe in many God’s,
when in fact they don’t even believe in “a God!!”
It’s the only non-theistic religion.
That’s a simple truth about Buddhism which i didn’t know until i was 22 years old!!!
I assumed they believed in multiple God’s because i was told that growing up…
imagine i could have kept believcing someone’s opinion for the rest of my life!
Also, if you read about Islam,
you would discover the parallel lives between Jesus and Mohammad.
I personally believe Christians and Muslims live their lives, worship their prophet very similarly,
they all just use different words.
