Oh boy. I have a lot to talk about….

it’s almost been a week since I let you into my life here on the blog,

and you know that’s far too long of a stretch.

Malcolm and I are living in a beautiful guest house near Phoenix,

I’m not quite sure how we snagged it

because it fulfills all our needs and wants,

and then some.

If we were told to write a wish-list of what we desired in an apartment,

we wouldn’t have even thought of writing

“chickens running around the yard”

“fresh eggs every morning”

“lots of dogs (puppies) to fulfill our need for animals

because we aren’t quite ready for the commitment”

“live on the same block as Malcolm’s work.”

Yet, we were handed our imaginary wish-list on a silver platter

and we are forever grateful.

The guest house is even fully furnished

so we didn’t need to bring towels, dishes, bed sheets etc.

Thank God because we don’t even own those things,

we literally only have the clothes on our backs…..

plus a few extra extra large boxes of clothes…. :/

which by the way, started to give me anxiety while unpacking.

Who needs 15 plaid shirts???

Seriously.

Nobody needs 15 plaid shirts,

so I decided I might challenge myself

to a promise of no new clothes until 2013.

I just have to go on a shopping bender for a full 24 hour

and then commit to the promise.

ha ha.

Here is my favorite chicken,

it looks like he/she is wearing white Ugg boots while he/she waddles.

I hope he/she never gets slaughtered…

The new place has a hammock!!!!

I love hammocks and have always said I want one in my yard!

I haven’t been able to get photos of the other three dogs,

two of which are PUPPIES!!!

We have lime and grapefruit trees!!!

Since I was having it professionally done,

I went a little more dramatic than my every-day life.

I loved it!

Soon I will post a Before and After with more natural-looking makeup

just to show how a little makeup can go a long way!!

And just because I love (and miss) Cafe Rosetta,

Malcolm and I found our dream restaurant in Scottsdale,

Organic and gluten-free salads, pastas, and pizza!!!!!
